Font editors that I use
iFontMaker iPad app. This is great for handwritten typefaces.
FontLab - This is the most professional font editor out there.
Glyphs is another professional app, while it's noticable cheaper it alse has a mini version that is very affordable.

Hyperglot is an awesome tool to analyze languge support.
